Webinar I – “Breaking the Myths: Trauma, Addiction & What Science Says About It”

On May 28th, a well-attended webinar was held commemorating the Mental Health Awareness Month and TSAFI’s related campaign. Together with experts, the webinar dived into myths shared by members to debunk them with science, increasing knowledge and awareness on the impacts of trauma.

TSAFI Mental Health Month Campaign

During the Month May, TSAFI commemorated the Mental Health month in which myths from around the world, submitted by active participants, got debunked with science twice a week. If we remain silent about the myths, they continue to do harm to people as they might not feel save to ask for help or even receive inadequate support by their communities and/or service providers in their recovery pathways.
